Design It Better: Mobility Drinking Aid
A project aiming to assist those with mobility issues and/or hand tremors with consuming liquids (primary demographic is the disabled and elderly)

This group project tasked me and two other individuals to select an already existing commercial product on the market and design it better. The objective was to research and formulate designs to better its functionality, visual design, and overall quality for the target audience. A 1-week timespan was given to produce designs and illustrations.

My group chose to improve cup holders, specifically for those with mobility issues involving the hand (i.e. Parkinson's, hand tremors) that causes difficulty to consume liquids on a day-to-day basis. Based on our research, audience feedback, and sketch designs, isometric and orthographic drawings were produced.

I took on the task of utilizing Adobe Illustrator to produce both isometric and orthographic images of all three of our finalized designs. Communicating with my teammates on what their visual goals and essential concepts were for the final illustrations, I utilized my technical skills and creative mind to bring our designs to life.
